A Donald Trump supporter interrupted Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during a campaign speech in Massachusetts on Saturday, the Hill reports.

The man, who held a sign that read, "Obama is as Christian as Bruce Jenner is a woman," was escorted from the event where the Democratic presidential candidate was speaking -- but not before Sanders promised that billionaires like Trump would no longer control the country if he is elected.

"Here's a Trump supporter worried about Mr. Trump's money," Sanders said, as the crowd began to boo the heckler. ""I say to Mr. Trump and his supporters that the billionaires in this country will not continue to own this nation."

According to an attendee who emailed the Raw Story, the Trump supporter stood in front of the crowd and pumped his fists in the air, but was peacefully escorted out by security. His sign misspelled the word "Christian" as "Cristain."

Hecklers are nothing new to campaign rallies, though protesters at Trump's rallies have often been met with violence. In a December incident, security guards were caught on video shoving a woman onto the ground after she had protested a Trump speech in Pennsylvania.
