Cenk Uygur mocks Palin's Wisconsin rant: 'She has no f*cking idea what she's saying'

Young Turks host Cenk Uygur gave his thoughts on Monday on Sarah Palin's bizarre speech last week during a Republican event in Milwaukee -- but not without some effort on his part.

"What on God's green Earth is she talking about?" Uygur said after playing footage of Palin's remarks on Friday on behalf of Donald Trump.

Palin has come under criticism for accusing Trump's opponents of "inducing and seducing" undocumented immigrants into coming to the US with promises of "a gift basket of teddy bears and soccer balls." Uygur said her speaking style is influenced by her experience as a sportscaster and learning to finish her sentences in "-ing," so that she would sound "more present."

"She doesn't realize that's a dumb way of talking," he explained. "She thinks, 'They taught me this smart way of talking.'"

Palin only "accidentally" became governor of Alaska, Uygur argued, because she promised to distribute more of the state's oil proceeds among its residents, which he actually supported.

"That's the only thing she ever did right and the only reason she was governor and was popular as governor," he said. "Everything from that was downhill, 'cause she has no f*cking idea what she's saying."
