'Tough year for sexist, old, throwback men': Internet drags Newt Gingrich over Megyn Kelly meltdown
Newt Gingrich speaks to CNN

After Megyn Kelly went at it with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on the Kelly File on Tuesday night, people took to Twitter to applaud Kelly for asking if Republican nominee Donald Trump was a "sexual predator."

"If Trump is a sexual predator," Kelly began.

"He's not a sexual predator," Gingrich interrupted.

"Okay. That is your opinion," Kelly said. She backed up her statement by calling attention to the women who have come out in recent weeks alleging that Trump had sexually harassed or assaulted them. Again, sexual assault is not a partisan issue.

Gingrich lost it on air, shouting at Kelly, "I’m sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true!" This has been the response from many Trump supporters on the right who also claim that calling out his misogyny is playing the "woman card."

Even so, Kelly ended her segment perfectly and suggested Gingrich work on his anger issues.

People took to Twitter and were all about Kelly, shredded Gingrich and threw in some important Trump jokes all at once.
