Kellyanne Conway in Hannity -- (Fox News screen grab)

Appearing on Sean Hannity's show on the Fox News Network, Trump senior counsel Kellyanne Conway said she is now under Secret Service protection due to death threats which she blames on the press.

During the Monday night interview, Conway claimed that a multiple packages containing "white substances" have been delivered to her home causing panic.

“We have packages delivered to my house with white substances. That is a shame," she told the sympathetic Fox host. "Because of what the press is doing now to me, I have Secret Service protection.”

Conway has become the focal point of derision and scorn for her TV appearances where she is known for defending President Trump by dismissing questions as being hostile or slanted, to the point where she has been parodied repeatedly on Saturday Night Live.

The former Trump campaign manger was on the receiving end of a massive amount of criticism on Sunday when she defended Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer's combative Saturday night address to reporters, calling Spicer's obvious lies "alternative facts."
