Pavin Smith's parents cry tears of joy as they open his Christmas gift.
Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Pavin Smith shared heartwarming video of his parents receiving his Christmas gift -- paying off the mortgage on their home.
"Thank you for raising me in a great home filled with love, because of all the sacrifices you made to get me where I am, I want our family home to be yours," his mother choked up while reading.
Pavin posted video of his parents tearing up, with a warm season's greeting.
"Thank you for everything you have done for me! This doesn’t make up for any of it," Pavin wrote.
"Love you both so much. Our home is finally all YOURS. Merry Christmas!" he continued.
Smith received a bonus of $5,016,300 when he was selected 7th in the June MLB draft, the Arizona Republic explained.
