UFO conspiracy theorists now determined to find what the release of new military video is covering up

Those skeptical of the government's involvement in the recent report about alleged military research into UFOs are now developing new theories. The news last week was red meat for conspiracy theorists eager to search for a justification to take up arms against the "deep state." But like any good conspiracy theory, there is always another one ready to debunk the first.

As the Daily Beast cited, while other conspiracy theorists resistant to jump in, InfoWars was quick to take a victory lap. Just after the election, Alex Jones called for President Donald Trump to release the government's hidden intel on extraterrestrials and UFOs.

“There are, I’m here to announce, hundreds of thousands of different types of aliens here on the Earth,” Jones told his viewers. He's constantly told InfoWars fans that there are secret government programs working on hidden projects like UFOs, aliens and all of the slave children sent to Mars. He's also hyped “human-animal chimeras” and “tanks with people with gills."

But, the "proof" of aliens is also being used to verify any other conspiracy theory peddled by the far right.

“We have video footage from US military documenting an encounter with UFO’s but we STILL don’t have a shred of video from Mandalay Bay before or during the Las Vegas false flag,” a Reddit conversation read this week on a conspiracy theory subreddit. If they were right about aliens, then their logic confirms they were right about everything else from Pizzagate to chemtrails and the U.S. government's manifestation of mass shootings to justify taking guns from citizens.

“I’m all for an open mind in this stuff but when [Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John] Podesta recently tweeted about aliens and all this stuff being RECENTLY pushed out, can you blame me for thinking AREA 51 etc... is just a massive PSYOP!?” Reddit user, LeftAndDemsArePedos wrote.

"The audio is fake," alleges one person about the UFO video released from Luis Elizondo.

"Source please?" another asks. The replies devolve into "your ass" and "your mom's ass."
