The traditional military flyover at the Nationals opening game has been reportedly canceled this year because President Donald Trump decided to use his helicopter for a trip to Mar-a-Lago.

According to reports, Nationals TV announced on Thursday that the flyover had been canceled.

The report said that Trump wanted to use the Marine Two helicopter to travel to Andrews Air Force Base before flying from there to his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago.

The flyover could have presumably occurred if Trump had decided to take a motorcade to Andrews.
