Attorney Michael Avenatti mocked the president's "TV lawyer" for another cockeyed performance.
The former New York City mayor spent more than a half hour Friday morning on CNN's "New Day," where he complained about the network's coverage of President Donald Trump and gabbled through a 1998 video clip of himself arguing presidents must obey subpoenas.
"This is getting too easy," Avenatti tweeted, linking to a Raw Story article on Giuliani's interview. "What an absolute train wreck this guy is. EVERY time!!! #Embarrassment #TimeForPasture #DazedConfused #Basta."
Giuliani griped to CNN's Chris Cuomo that his questions were unfair, and he whined about the network "promoting" Avenatti, who he called an "ambulance chaser."
"Dear Dazed Rudy: Please retire. Today," Avenatti tweeted. "You had a good run for many years. But you are distracting from that and quickly becoming an embarrassment. A never ending joke. Don’t let this serve as your legacy. The time has come."
Avenatti is representing porn actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against the president over a non-disclosure agreement, and the attorney says at least two other women signed similar agreements that could prove problematic for Trump.
