President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has had an eventful few months, appearing on cable news stations across the political spectrum to defend Donald Trump's behavior in the Stormy Daniels saga and special prosecutor Robert Mueller's probe.
But Giuliani's side projects-- particularly his own extramarital affair-- have raised the concerns of GOP leadership.
Politico reports that Giuliani has announced his support for a House candidate in Louisiana trying to unseat incumbent GOP Rep. Clay Higgins. And it turns out, Giuliani's new girlfriend, GOP fundraiser Jennifer LeBlanc, is working for the Republican challenger in the race.
"We have a National Enquirer-type situation going on down in Louisiana's 3rd Congressional District," state Attorney General Jeff Landry told Politico, calling Giuliani's role in all this “ridiculous.”
Meanwhile, Republican officials are reportedly demanding Trump and Pence do something to shut up Rudy Giuliani. It will more likely than not be of no avail.
