Nikki Haley announced her resignation as the Trump administration's ambassador to the United Nations on Tuesday and at least one Fox News analyst is sorry to see her go because of her "femininity" and "glamour."

Hugo Gurdon, the editorial director of the Washington Examiner, praised her "good looks" and said they would be missed.

She brought to the job of United Nations ambassador not just great competence and great toughness but a kind of good looks and elegance that have really elevated the job," he said.

Gurdon said that Haley's "good looks" mattered a lot to Trump.

"I think that's why she got this farewell in the Oval Office," he said. "She makes the administration look good—there's a calm and a dignity and an elegance to her, and the particular quality of being a woman."
