‘They just want to create havoc’: Fox News whines Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ‘like a bull in a china shop’

On Thanksgiving, Fox News continued their panic over Democrats capturing control of the House of Representatives.

Fox Business Network personality Charles Payne, who was filling in during the holiday, was concerned that Democrats would provide oversight of President Donald Trump.

“You’ve got these older, established Democrats who’ve seen what’s happened in the past, they know it’s a risky political move,” he argued.

“Whereas the upstarts, the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s of the world, maybe they just don’t know, they’re like bulls in a china shop, they just want to create havoc,” Payne suggested.

“Right,” said Phil Wegmann of the conservative Washington Examiner.

“The question for Republicans is how do they want to respond,” Wegmann said. “Are they going to continue with a nice-guy sort-of schtick, like we saw out of Paul Ryan (R-WI) — who is a lovable policy wonk — or Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who is, you know, the affable friend of everybody in Congress or are they going to respond like Newt Gingrich would have and really bring the hammer down.”

Wegmann’s publication, the Washington Examiner, was recently in a scandal after reporter Eddie Scary posted a widely-criticized picture of Rep.-elect Ocasio-Cortez’s posterior.

A mail carrier in West Virginia is facing jail time after he was caught tampering with absentee ballot requests in a way that suppressed turnout in local Democratic primary elections.

BuzzFeed News reports that 47-year-old Thomas Cooper pleaded guilty this week to attempting to defraud the residents of West Virginia of a fair election when he switched West Virginia residents' ballot requests from Democratic to Republican ballots.

Cooper altered a total of eight different ballot requests, although he told investigators that he did it "as a joke" and didn't mean to cause any harm. Cooper's attorney, Scott Curnutte, similarly told BuzzFeed News that Cooper's actions had just been a "silly lark."

Speaking to the House Thursday, Trump's former acting CIA director Michael Morell explained that things are being made far worse by the president's denial.
