After being outed for racist tendencies and attending a segregated school, Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith is employing the help of President Donald Trump to carry her over the finish line.


While most candidates being outed like this would be the kiss of political death, political pundits have speculated that Mississippi is likely to consider Smith's racism a perk.

Smith faces off against former Rep. Mike Espy, who is polling at 44 percent in the days leading up to the election, CNN reported.
