President Donald Trump whined about director Spike Lee's politically charged Oscar acceptance speech in an early morning tweet.

Lee, who won his first Oscar for best original script for the film “Blackkklansman,” urged the audience to "choose love over hate, let’s do the right thing" in next year's presidential election, although he did not say Trump's name.

"Be nice if Spike Lee could read his notes, or better yet not have to use notes at all," Trump tweeted, "when doing his racist hit on your President, who has done more for African Americans (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts, etc.) than almost any other Pres!"
