MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace blasted President Donald Trump as a lunatic during Thursday’s show as his attacks on Sen. John McCain continue.

After replaying a Wednesday interview with former Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-NE) in which the Medal of Honor veteran demanded Trump’s bone spur x-rays, the panel struggled to understand why the fight was continuing.

Wallace noted that sitting Republicans have slowly come to the defense of the Trump foe, who’s been dead for seven months. Most, however, remain silent.

“One thing is becoming clear,” Wallace said. “Trump may be a man on an island with this one, even within his own administration.”

She cited a recent Politico report that no one in Trump’s White House wants to touch the ongoing feud.

“A current senior White House official said White House aides are making an effort not to discuss it in polite company,” the report revealed. “Another current White House official, bemoaned the tawdry distraction. ‘It does not appear to be a great use of our time to talk about George Conway or dead John McCain … Why are we doing this?”

Because you work for a lunatic!” Wallace exclaimed after reading the report.

Washington Post reporter Robert Costa agreed, noting Republicans are slowly backing away from Trump like he’s a rabid squirrel. However, “there’s also widespread acceptance.”

“If you turn on Fox News or go to different outlets and Twitter, on conservative personalities, they’re saying President Trump has a point,” Costa explained. “And the Republican leadership, in their statement, are not calling out the president by name, only praising Sen. McCain. It underscored the president’s continued power in this party.”

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is being investigated by law enforcement officials for his work in pressuring the Ukrainian government to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden -- and that could make him a valuable asset in the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, according to CNN political analyst Joe Lockhart.

The White House press secretary issued a terse condemnation of a macabre online video depicting President Donald Trump gunning down media figures and Democratic rivals.

The video was shown at a conservative political event hosted at a Trump-owned hotel and attended by Donald Trump Jr. and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, whose successor as press secretary was forced to comment the morning after reports about the video began circulating online.

"Re: the video played over the weekend: The @POTUS @realDonaldTrump has not yet seen the video, he will see it shortly, but based upon everything he has heard, he strongly condemns this video," said Stephanie Grisham, the White House press secretary.

President Donald Trump is the most famous bully in the world, and some experts on middle-school bullies offered some advice to the Democratic candidates who might face him in next year's election.

Bullying peaks for most people between the ages of 12 and 14, when children become more self-conscious, and middle schoolers tend to compensate for their insecurity by siding with classmates with a higher social status, reported The New Yorker.
