U.S. District Court Chief Judge Beryl Howell was reportedly frustrated on Monday with an attorney representing Rudy Giuliani in his defamation trial related to the 2020 election.
Attorney Joseph Sibley followed his opening statements for Giuliani by objecting to evidence presented by an attorney for former election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss.
"Sibley has been repeatedly objecting to basic questions about this document that was admitted without objection as part of a batch of exhibits," WUSA's Jordan Fischer reported. "Judge Howell is clearly annoyed by that and calls the attorneys to the husher phones."

"The document is a spreadsheet of public references to or about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. They started appearing on Dec. 3, 2020 — the day Rudy Giuliani spoke to the Georgia State Senate. Over the next two days alone, there were thousands of references," he added.
After Sibley objected again, the judge dryly exclaimed, "Surprise!"
Howell overruled Sibley and allowed a "Threat Intelligence and Monitoring Report" that detailed threats against Freeman and Moss.
