Colorado GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert is pleading with her supporters to send money before December because, if they don't, Republicans could lose their control of the government, Newsweek reported.

Boebert faces a potentially tough reelection campaign as Democrats have recently performed better than expected in her district.

"With the end-of-month deadline upon us, I'm asking each and every one of you for help ensuring my campaign has the resources to win," Boebert wrote on X this Thursday. "If we lose Colorado's 3rd District, the House is in MAJOR jeopardy of falling into Democrat hands."

"My opponent has plenty of funding from Soros dark money and even Hollywood liberals like Barbra Streisand and Ryan Reynolds," she continued. "I need your help. Can I count on your support today for the critical November end-of-month deadline?"

Democrat Adam Frisch, who performed stronger than expected against Boebert in the 2022 midterms, will be running again in 2024 as well as some other Republicans who are vying to defeat her.

One of those Republicans, Jeff Hurd, said that Boebert is "directly responsible for the liberals of California and New York to come in and buy the Colorado 3rd."

"It is because of her divisive rhetoric, distracting public antics, and lack of attention to the district we are even in this position," Hurd said.
