Using the Thursday arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on charges of misconduct in public office, most likely over his involvement with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, MS NOW personality Mika Brzezinski did not hesitate to bring up the many failures of Attorney General Pam Bondi at a time when the White House would like the scandal to go away.
Earlier, with an assist from co-host Joe Scarborough, accusing the Donald Trump appointee of a cover-up, since the Department of Justice was handed the notorious Epstein files months ago, “Morning Joe’s” Brzezinski claimed the focus on the president has only increased after Bondi's House Judiciary Committee hearing meltdown a week ago.
After running a clip of Bondi snarling at lawmakers and shouting, “The DOW is over 50,000 dollars. I don’t know why you’re laughing! You’re a great stock trader, as I hear, [Democratic Rep Jamie] Raskin. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. Americans’ 401(k)s and retirement savings are booming. That’s what we should be talking about. We should be talking about making Americans safe,” Brzezinski stated, “See, and this is why the questions just won't stop. They're only going to get louder and more people are going to ask them.”
“And the pressure is going to come down on this administration hard, because Pam Bondi was literally –– there's no other way to say it –– so bad in that hearing. She was horrendous at doing the president's bidding. If she was trying to cover for anyone or deflect, was such a royal, you-know-what-show.”
She continued, “She did such a disservice to this sort of oath that these administration officials take to President Trump. She outed everybody, looking so bad and, I'm sorry, incredibly stupid, just incredibly stupid. And a person with absolute zero morals or heart or soul when it comes to the law, when it comes to justice, when it comes to what she has committed her life to: law, order and justice for victims.”
“The victims sitting right behind her and getting that? That was unfortunate and mostly for President Trump,” she claimed.
