Christine Pelosi, the daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), reacted with rage to claims former President Donald Trump made during his meeting with congressional Republicans on Thursday.
Punchbowl News' Jake Sherman reports that Trump made a bizarre remark about Pelosi while he was unleashing a stream-of-conscious rant in front of adoring Republican members.
"'Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there’s an age difference though." Trump said, according to Sherman.

Christine Pelosi immediately took to Twitter to slam Trump.
"Speaking for all 4 Pelosi daughters — this is a LIE," she wrote. "His deceitful, deranged obsession with our mother is yet another reason Donald Trump is unwell, unhinged and unfit to step foot anywhere near her — or the White House."
Nancy Pelosi oversaw both of Trump's impeachments in the House of Representatives and held particular contempt for Trump after he incited a deadly riot at the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021, in which Trump supporters broke into the building and made threatening remarks about the then-speaker of the House of Representatives.
