President Donald Trump on Thursday warned of right-wing backlash, blaming the "radical left" for the deadly ICE facility shooting in Dallas, Texas.

During a meeting with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the Oval Office, Trump said "the radical left is causing this problem, not the right, the radical left, and it's going to get worse and ultimately it's going to go back on them," CNN reports.

He suggested there could be retaliation.

"I mean, bad things happen when they play these games," Trump said. "And I give you a little clue, the right is a lot tougher than the left, but the right's not doing this, they're not doing it and they better not get them energized, because it won't be good for the left."

Trump did not mention the victims of the shooting in the aftermath of the shooting on Wednesday, which left one detainee dead and two others injured, The Associated Press reports.

No law enforcement officers were injured in the shooting, and the suspect was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Trump mentioned he has been looking at further actions — but did not name what they were. Earlier this week, he declared the loose-knit "antifa" as a “domestic terrorist organization" through an executive order.
