Reactions rolled in Monday after President Donald Trump was caught on a hot mic talking to a world leader about a family business deal after signing the Gaza ceasefire plan.

More than 20 world leaders joined Trump in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, for a summit. After speaking, Trump asked the media to leave the room. That's when the hot mic moment happened as the Indonesian president approached him.

"Trump's conversation with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is caught on a hot mic. Hard to tell exactly what they are talking about, but Subianto asks Trump about meeting Eric Trump and Don Jr, who supposedly have nothing to do with government while they run the family business," journalist Aaron Rupar noted on Bluesky.

Social media users reacted to the incident.

"I hope that someone is keeping account of how all the money being spent to rebuild Gaza is being spent because I would hazard a guess that a lot of it could end up in offshore accounts rather than in building new hospitals, schools, water supplies. and other critical infrastructure," Chris Medland, architect and Ph.D. researcher, wrote on Bluesky.

"The Trump family corruption knows no bounds," writer Joel Klebanoff wrote on Bluesky.
