Iowa’s Republican governor has an unverified X account she uses to vent frustration with former President Donald Trump, according to a new New York Times report.

Gov. Kim Reynolds has been linked to the account @Kimberl26890376 which shares memes and posts in support of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Trump’s struggling opponent in the 2024 presidential race, the Times reports.

In recent weeks, the account has shared an anti-Trump post that states his followers “want a king” and a meme comparing two pictures of DeSantis, with his family, and Trump at his New Year’s Eve party.

“The contrast is overwhelming,” the meme reads.

The account name is Kimberly Reynolds -- the Times notes she normally goes by Kim -- and it uses her photograph, but it was not linked to her official profile and does not identify her as the governor.

Reynolds appears to have opened the account in September 2021 and amassed 304 followers as of Jan. 11.

She endorsed DeSantis in 2023, spurring outrage from Trump over her lack of "loyalty."

Her office did not respond to the Times’ request for comment.
