Former President Donald Trump, chastised in court for muttering loudly enough for the jury to hear, proved unable to keep his voice down — or his message civil, reports show.

As Judge Lewis Kaplan told Trump's attorney Alina Habba to “sit down” after she once again issued her demand for an adjournment, the former president was heard to mutter his opinion, ABC News reports.

"He is a very nasty guy,” Trump reportedly said.

The judge later threatened to throw him out of the courtroom because he was unable to "control" himself.

The former president has been in the courtroom facing off against E. Jean Carroll, the writer he’s been found liable of sexually abusing and defaming, who was giving testimony Wednesday. The jury is determining damages in the trial.

Carroll’s lawyer Shawn Crowley complained earlier to the court that the jury could hear Trump accusing Carroll of giving false testimony, according to Politico’s Erica Orden.

Reports show Carroll testified about the price she paid when the then-U.S. president repeatedly and publicly called her a liar and implied she was "too ugly to assault," ABC reported.

The outlet also reported Trump was heard laughing after Kaplan overruled an objection.
