Donald Trump and one of his co-defendants are seeking to disqualify prosecutor Fani Willis and have the criminal charges of his election interference case dismissed, Reuters reported Thursday.
Trump co-defendant Michael Roman has accused Willis of having an inappropriate relationship with a lawyer she hired to help with the prosecution, Nathan Wade.

Now Trump's legal team has endorsed his claims — and added that Willis "inappropriately injected race into the case and stoked racial animus" after she gave a speech at a historically Black church in Atlanta where she suggested Wade is being targeted because he is Black.
The filing said Willis' speech risked prejudicing potential jurors.
