'Seagulls fighting over potato chips' are 'more organized' than the GOP: Seth Meyers

The chaos in Congress is leading to more mockery from late-night comedians as Republicans continue to flail in their effort to elect a Speaker.

Mocking the GOP once again in disarray, "Late Show" host Seth Meyers said that the members being called a "clusterf-ck" makes it seem more organized than they actually are.

"It implies some sense of unity," he explained. "They're more like a scatter-f-ck. I've seen more organized groups of seagulls fighting over a potato chip."

"Whoa! Fellas, let's just cast our ballots in an orderly fashion and whoever wins the votes gets — DORITO!" Meyers said pretending to be a member of the seagull clan.

Ironically, one of the terms for a group of seagulls is a squabble, linking the birds to the GOP-led Congress closer than Meyers may have intended.

"I swear to God, if they didn't have the House to work at I'm not sure half these guys could find a house to live in," Meyers continued. "You just see a pack of feral Republicans wandering through the woods arguing about which hole to sh-t in. Hey! That's my hole! I found it first!'"

He went on to say that most times the party in power wants to project confidence even if it's a lie. In this case, Republicans are so angry that they continue to go on cable news admitting "we suck" and saying that they desperately need Democrats to step in and fix it.

"Politicians spend millions every year in ads to convince people that they should be in charge and Republicans are going on national TV every day for free telling people, 'for the love of God, do not put us in charge!'" said Meyers.
