Video: Giant crane catches fire and collapses into NYC building

A giant crane caught fire in New York City early Wednesday, causing its arm to fall and smash into an adjacent building, according to reports.

A firefighter and at least four others suffered minor injuries, authorities said.

ABC 6 reported that the crane was next to an under-construction, 40-story building on 10th Avenue at West 41st Street, in the newly-developed Hudson Yards neighborhood.

Nearby buildings were being evacuated in case of an additional collapse.
