Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has reportedly died following a medical emergency at his Florida home.

TMZ reported Thursday morning that the 71-year-old WWE icon died from cardiac arrest at his residence in Clearwater, where sources told the website that emergency crews had been dispatched.

"We're told a slew of police cars and EMTs were parked outside Hogan's home ... and the icon was carried on a stretcher and into an ambulance," TMZ reported.

NBC Los Angeles reported that Hogan's manager Chris Volo said that Hogan died at his home in Florida, surrounded by his family.

Hogan's wife Sky disputed rumors recently that Hogan was in a coma and insisted his heart was "strong" as he recovered from a neck procedure in May.

The hall of fame wrestler appeared in numerous movies and starred in a reality TV show based around his family, and he became a MAGA ally of President Donald Trump and successfully sued the Gawker website out of existence.
