The Delaware computer repair shop owner who was in possession of Hunter Biden's laptop, the contents of which would later become public, was deposed by Hunter Biden's' lawyer on Wednesday, Axios reported.
John Paul Mac Isaac sued Hunter, as well as President Joe Biden and CNN, for defamation in 2022. Now, Hunter's team is countersuing, which prompted Mac Isaac's deposition before Hunter Biden's attorney.
As Axios points out, Mac Isaac owned a computer repair shop where he claimed Hunter dropped off his laptop in April 2019 and never came back to pick it up. Delaware law says the laptop now has become Mac Isaac's property. But Hunter's lawyers say Mac Isaac does not have rights to the contents of the laptop's hard drive.
