Federal prosecutors unsealed the indictments of Donald Trump and his personal valet Walt Nauta in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case Friday afternoon.

The former president was indicted on violations related to the Espionage Act and obstruction of justice, and Nauta was named a co-conspirator for helping Trump hide classified documents the National Archives had demanded to be returned after he took them from the White House.

The 49-page indictment walks through all the allegations against Trump, who is accused of stashing top-secret materials in a bathroom and shower at his social club, among other places, and placed national security at risk by improperly storing them and showing them to others.

Trump allegedly discussed classified plans for a military operation after leaving the White House, when he was not authorized to declassify documents, and showed a classified map to a representative of his super PAC but warned that person not to get too close because it was a sensitive document.

The indictment also alleges that Trump ordered his attorney to hide or destroy documents called for in a grand jury subpoena.
