Former Democratic National Committee chairman Jaime Harrison took to X on Wednesday to unload on Lindy Li, a former Democratic Party donor who in recent months has taken to making the rounds on right-wing cable networks, proclaiming herself sympathetic to President Donald Trump and calling the Democratic Party a "cult" of failures who refused to heed her warnings.
Li has raised eyebrows from political observers in recent months, many of whom have noted that she was an outspoken, down-the-line partisan Democrat throughout the election and even attacked anyone who criticized President Joe Biden's mental fitness — something she now claims had been obvious to her all along.
The particular appearance that caught Harrison's attention was Li's appearance on Newsmax, where she said she sounded the alarm for months that Democrats' warnings about Trump being a danger to democracy weren't landing, and "I brought this issue up" with Harrison, and "you know what he did? He tweeted GIFs at me and called me a narcissist for raising questions."

That's not how Harrison remembers things — and he brought receipts to back it up.
".@lindyli you are a narcissist and the only questions you raised to me were those asking how you could you (sic) get another picture with the VP or how you could get into the reserved seating areas for rallies," wrote Harrison. "Grifters going to grift. You are a fraud. But the next time you want to name check me on @NEWSMAX make sure you share some of these notes you sent about my 'leadership.'" He provided screenshots of Li's direct messages with him, effusing him with praise for his "incredible leadership" all the way up to the end of October 2024.
This follows another public swing Harrison leveled at Li the previous week, after she heavily implied in a panel discussion with Piers Morgan that she voted for Trump.
"When I got out of the car at the Kamala Harris election night party at the Conrad- you were the very first person I saw. (I’ll check with the film crew because maybe we even have video.)" wrote Harrison. "Nonetheless, you were perched by the door ready to take pictures with any celebrity type or elected official that walked in. Like a student trying to impress a professor, you joyfully rattled off how much you raised this cycle to support the campaign. You told me about hosting a fundraiser at your home and your unwavering support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. So either you were lying then or you are lying now, but either way it just makes you out to be a liar. A very bad liar."
