The prospect of an Ivanka and Jared-free White House has Donald Trump's potential presidential staffers rejoicing.

The leading GOP contender announced on Fox Monday that his daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, would not serve in his administration if he is re-elected in 2024.

The news left those who worked with the couple last time exuberant.

"There will be fewer Democrats around the second time!" a Trump adviser said, according to a report in the Daily Beast.

Another, talking about Kushner, said, "The guy is a double nepo baby."

“It’s probably better for them, the campaign, and ultimately the admin if it comes to that, to just go ahead and say they won’t be in there,” another adviser said.

Yet another said there was much "excitement" created by the declaration.

“The issue is not Ivanka and Jared, although they represent it," the adviser said. "The issue is we must do a better job hiring."

An insider told the Beast that Trump has wanted the pair on his staff, but that they didn't want to be "part of his second run."

“I believe that the president is trying to make it appear that it’s his decision, but it’s not,” the insider told The Daily Beast. “Everyone in the inner circle knows. There is no way in hell they are going to be affiliated with Trump.”

Ivanka and Kushner had been brought into the administration in 2017 as advisers to Trump, but people close to the president said they quickly got frustrated by their inability to guide Trump. Jan. 6 also was said to have left the couple "horrified."

Kushner is also unpopular with people who have recently been returning to Trump's inner circle – with the Beast mentioning Steve Bannon and Roger Stone.

“No. I said that’s enough for the family," Trump said on Fox Monday. "You know why? It’s too painful for the family. My family’s been through hell.”
