U.S. Vice President JD Vance "should be impeached" for a social media post he made on Saturday, according to one political commentator.
Vance over the weekend took to X, where he wrote, "Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military."
"Democrats: let’s send your kids to die in Russia," he added. "Republicans: actually let’s protect our people from the scum of the earth."
Liberal commentator Brian Krassenstein responded to Vance's comments, saying, "Killing the citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime."
Vance then dropped a profane reply:
"I don’t give a s--- what you call it," the V.P. said.
Krassenstein replied, "Killing 11 people in this way could be classified as an extrajudicial killing under international human rights law, potentially exposing U.S. officials to responsibility. Good luck in 2029. Any idea what the penalty for such a crime would be?"
In a separate post, Krassenstein said, "I think this thread tells you everything you need to know about JD Vance and the way he views law and order."
"Pathetic," the influencer added. "He should be impeached for this tweet."
The interaction also saw responses from other big names who lobbed allegations at the V.P.
Ex-GOP strategist Cheri Jacobus said, "You seem hell bent on getting yourself convicted of war crimes one day, Skippy."
PatriotTakes asked, "Are you sure there were no human trafficking victims on that boat?"
Law professor Anthony Michael Kreis asked, "What’s the point of the Constitution and the rule of law or did you skip that day at YLS?"
