Reactions rolled in on Friday after Jeanine Pirro, U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, held an unusual press conference following a major loss for the Trump administration.

Pirro was combative in her press conference, frustrated after U.S. District Judge James Boasberg granted the order, agreeing with the Fed that Trump's repeated attacks on Fed chair Jerome Powell indicate the investigation into the Federal Reserve's building renovation was pretextual and politically motivated.

The internet had a lot to say after Pirro's public meltdown.

"What she fails to understand is that Donald J. Trump is the reason this full-on fantasy subpoena was blocked. The subpoena was politically motivated, and designed to infringe on the Federal Reserve’s independence. Jeanne [SIC] Pirro’s handling of the judge’s block is not very professional. She seems to not be taking it well," writer and advocate Dianne Callahan wrote on X.

"Who would have thought. Putting drunken tv hacks into positions of nominal 'power' would backfire," combat veteran and writer James Gammage wrote on X.

"Pirro is unqualified and horrible at her job. This press conference is her attempt to get Trump to not get mad at he and ensure she is invited to the old people parties at retirement village at Mar a Largo," technologist and geographer Linda Stevens wrote on X.

"Jeanine Pirro is a few fries short of a Happy Meal IMO," author Don Winslow wrote on X.

"This is Jeanine Pirro answering one question today," Ron Filipkowski, MeidasNews editor-in-chief, wrote on Bluesky, sharing screenshots from multiple moments throughout Pirro's press conference.
