Rep. Jim Jordan, the Republican House Judiciary Committee chair who has struggled to prove the corruption he’d like to impeach President Joe Biden for, wants information from the ghostwriter referenced in Special Counsel Robert Hur’s recent and controversial report.

Jordan released Wednesday a letter to Mark Zwonitzer, just days after the release of Hur’s report, which found Biden had committed no criminal act linked to confidential documents the former Vice President retained, but noted he had read classified notes to the ghostwriter of his memoirs.

“Based on the information in Special Counsel Hur’s report, President Biden’s assertion that he never shared classified information with you appears to be false,” Jordan writes.

“In light of Special Counsel Hur’s investigation and report, the Committee requires materials and information currently in your possession.”

Jordan then demands Zwonitzer hand over all communications, contracts, pay stubs, audio recordings and transcripts linked to the ghostwritten memoirs, “Promise Me, Dad” and “Promises to Keep.”

To make sure the public was aware of this step, the House Judiciary GOP shared it on X.

It was not met with the applause for which the party might have hoped.

“Maybe y’all could find a way to put on your big girl / big boy pants and actually fight for your *American* constituency?” replied @HeddyNajjar.

“Here goes Jim again!” replied @justicenow_alan. “Jim has become the chief investigator of everything. Probably a good idea because he isn't going to be a Congressman anymore.”

The letter arrives just one day after Jordan gave a lackluster Fox News interview alongside Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jason Smith (R-MO) about a possible Biden impeachment.

Stirring music played as Fox News host Sean Hannity demanded a prediction as to whether the president would be impeached.

Then came an awkward pause as Jordan summoned a smile, shook his head and managed to say, “We gotta wait for the evidence to come.”

A seemingly surprised Hannity stuttered when he then turned the question to Comer, who declared “I agree with Jim Jordan” and refused to say more.

“I’m with Jim and Jamie,” added Smith.

Slight laughter ensued as Hannity, off camera, muttered “three for three.”
