Pro-Biden Fox News segment stuns critics 'since they're allergic to facts'

Fox News critics were stunned Tuesday when a video clip of a pro-President Joe Biden segment skipped on the punditry and looked directly at the facts.

The video shared Tuesday night showed “The Five” host Greg Gutfeld demanding political consultant Jessica Tarlov defend “the indefensible” Biden in 20 seconds, which she then does.

Tarlov rattles off positive economic ratings — a 4.9 percent Gross Domestic Product increase she calls “unheard-of,” rises in income and drops in grocery prices — then points to a recent Quinnipiac poll she called “really important.”

The poll found 62 percent of respondents believe they will be in a better economic position in 2024, the same year Biden will run to reclaim the White House, Tarlov notes.

“Democrats, make your case,” Tarlov said. “There is a case to be made.”

This positive take from the famously conservative television station shocked X users who viewed it Tuesday evening.

Christopher Hale, a Democrat running to represent Tennessee in the House of Representatives, praised Tarlov for quick summation.

“Jessica Tarlov is an incredible communicator for Democratic values on Fox News,” Hale said. “She’s changing hearts and minds every single day she’s on the network.”

Others mocked the network and its past coverage of the Democratic president.

“I’m surprised that Fox News aired this” replied RazzLi, “since they’re allergic to facts.”

“But what will we do when Biden turns a day older tomorrow?” joked Rose Benson. “It’s a constitutional crisis.”

“She tells the truth and is good at it,” said Mark Easterly. “I doubt @FoxNews will allow this much longer.”

“Give her a raise,” said @artofthekills. “Whatever she makes, it’s not enough.”

“I’m surprised they even aired this,” replied @StayFreeBBs.

Bill deMayo echoed both a well-heeled quip about New York Times coverage and a complaint from the Biden campaign that the media report his administration’s successes fairly.

"Economy soaring higher than ever,” deMayo replied. “Here's how this is bad for Joe Biden.”
