Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) appeared to freeze during an interview with Fox Business' Larry Kudlow.
The conversation had turned to President Donald Trump's mass deportation programs when Kennedy commented, "Everybody else thinks.... Everybody else ...." and he stopped speaking, licking his lips before the camera cut from Kennedy.
A video posted by journalist Aaron Rupar of Public Notice showed a confused Kennedy and Kudlow stating that the "same thing" had happened with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), implying technical difficulties with a microphone. However, Kennedy stopped talking.
Kudlow said he was "awful sorry to hear that because everyone respects" what the senator has to say.
