Keith Olbermann passionately begs Republicans not to break up the Trump vs. McConnell 'civil war'

Longtime broadcaster Keith Olbermann on Tuesday begged Republicans to allow the bitter feud between Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell to continue.

"This is Olbermann versus anybody even thinking about breaking up a fight between Trump and Mitch McConnell," he began. "We haven't had a laugh like this in a long time, and we deserve it.

"Mitch McConnell acquitting Trump, then blaming Trump, and then getting exactly what anybody who compromises his morals just for political gain should get in bottomless pit-level quantities: and an internal political civil war that could literally split the Republican Party into two or more groups and neuter it nationally," he explained.

Olbermann suggested Trump's statement blasting McConnell was written by aide Jason Miller and noted the reports that an early draft included an insult about McConnell's chin.

"Trump making double-chin jokes?" he asked. "Jason Miller making double-chin jokes?"

"This adds to the theory that neither man has a soul unless neither of them has ever seen themselves in a mirror," he quipped.

He ended with a joke about deciding whether to urinate on the men if they were on fire.
