Reviewing comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s triumphant return to his show late Tuesday night after ABC/Disney bowed to pressure, branding expert Donnie Deutsch told an MSNBC panel that the war being waged by Donald Trump’s fans is far from over.

The popular late-night comedian was pulled from the air last week after being accused of making disparaging remarks about murdered far-right commentator Charlie Kirk, which led FCC chair Brendan Carr to threaten the network.

The suspension of the show created a massive uproar across the board with far-right conservative Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rand Paul (R-KY) also harshly criticizing the move.

On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Deutsch was asked what happens next, and he claimed the next logical move by Kimmel's critics will be an advertiser boycott. He then urged advertisers to ignore it, saying it would blow over.

“And I think, what I hope is that advertisers, don't buckle because this is not over yet,” he told the panel.

“What's going to happen is they're going to reach out to advertisers, ‘Oh, you're on Jimmy Kimmel' and whatnot,” he added.

“And advertisers, please don't. Don't be weak here. Stand true. Doesn't matter. Whether you support Kimmel, doesn't matter. Whether you don't support Kimmel. This is a free country. This is free speech.“
