Anti-Trump conservative Reed Galen said he "wouldn't let this guy near a rat."
Network exec Mike Sington went as far as to suggest Kitchens was equating "women to animals" when he leaned on the fact that he has done "thousands of ultrasounds on animals" and therefore knows for a fact that abortions are not part of the health care system in United States society.

MSNBC host Chris Hayes had a brief reply, simply sharing the video and writing, "Put it in an ad." Hayes is likely referring to the advertisements run from the Joe Biden campaign that are largely made up of quotes from political rivals. One such ad featured Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Another account responded with a colorful comparison.
"Yes, [because] the average human female is *exactly* like a Golden Retriever, your misogynist hack," wrote Kriste Kline.
"Should you ask your gf's father if she's got good hips for breeding, how many litters she could have?" Kline asked. "Perfectly normal way to talk *about* women."
