Right-wing firebrands Laura Loomer and Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continued their public feud on social media Tuesday.
The Georgia Republican Greene responded to President Joe Biden's sweeping pardon of his son Hunter by urging President-elect Donald Trump to do the same thing for his allies — although it's not clear who she meant or for which alleged crimes they should receive clemency.
"If Democrats are going to play the pardon game then we should do the same thing," Greene posted on X. "Trump can just blanket pardon all of us too."
Loomer, a MAGA influencer driven out of Trump's inner circle in the final weeks of his campaign, pointed out that pardons come with "an imputation of guilt and acceptance of a confession of it," according to the U.S. Supreme Court.
"JUST IN: MTG admits she has done something that would make her need a pardon," Loomer replied.
Greene was allegedly among the half-dozen GOP lawmakers who sought pardons after the Jan. 6 insurrection, according to testimony from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson during the House select committee's investigation.

Hutchinson testified that Greene asked the first Trump administration for the pardon, along with Reps. Mo Brooks (R-AL), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Scott Perry (R-PA), but it's not clear why they sought clemency as none were charged with any involvement in crimes involving that day.
Most of those lawmakers, however, were present for a Dec. 21, 2020, meeting at the White House where Trump and then-chief of staff Mark Meadows schemed about ways to overturn his election loss, and Hutchinson also testified that her former boss also sought a pardon, although Meadows' team denies that allegation.
Greene was highly critical of Loomer after she started publicly traveling with Trump in late summer and urged the Republican nominee to banish her from his inner circle, saying her social media posts were "extremely racist" and presented a political liability in the campaign.
