During the third GOP presidential debate in Miami, Florida, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley got into a furious fight with businessman Vivek Ramaswamy after the latter tried to jab her in a gotcha moment.
The exchange came during a segment debating over whether to ban or restrict TikTok, the micro-video app popular with young people that has become highly controversial for its parent company's ties to China.
Ramaswamy, one of the few Republicans on the stage to be skeptical of limiting TikTok, pointed out that Haley's daughter is active on the platform, and advised her to "look out for your family."
"Leave my daughter out of your voice!" snapped Haley, to general boos from the audience.
During a later moment, Ramaswamy and Haley got into another scuffle about her record on China, with Ramaswamy attacking her for bringing a Chinese-linked business into a partnership while she was governor of South Carolina.
"Every day I've fought China!" said Haley.
"Look at the hard facts, you've brought them to this country," said Ramaswamy.
