A former Democratic fundraiser who left the party following the November election and declared herself a Republican — clashing with Democratic Party leaders on her way out — took to a right-wing network on Tuesday to declare she really has switched parties.
"I called you a Trojan horse because I'm not sure you're truly conservative or not," said host Eric Bolling. "So let's just do this now —"
Lindy Li interjected before he could finish, refuting the allegation.

"Eric, I'm not trying to sell it," she began.
When Bolling asked Li if he could ask her a series of questions testing her ideologies, Li said she could "make it even easier."
"I am like far right —" she began.
But Bolling didn't let her finish and demanded to know if she agreed with President Donald Trump that all undocumented immigrants need to be deported.
"Absolutely," Li replied. "Eric, I'm so far right on most issues I'm probably more far right than like — I'm so far right on issues like immigration and this woke — I am so far right. I have one issue that I am — that is near and dear to my heart. And that's environment."
Li then tried to make it "simple" for Bolling.
"I'm far right on everything," she declared.
She and Bolling clashed when Li insisted she "wasn't wrong" on the issues while a Democrat.
"I was hiding myself," she said. "It wasn't wrong. This is who I've been."
Li pointed to a five-year-old interview in which she "tried to come out" — only to face backlash from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
"AOC canceled me! There was a smear campaign," said Li. "They tried to destroy my life. I did this before. This isn't out of nowhere. There was a Vanity Fair article, it was on the front page when I did this five years ago."
But Bolling wasn't persuaded, expressing doubt due to her statement calling Trump a "serial rapist."
"Were you under some sort of Democratic Kabuki?" he asked.
"I've apologized. I'll apologize again for you, Eric," she replied.
Bolling expressed more doubt, noting she benefits from switching now that Trump is in office and she can gain media attention.
"You're an interesting character," he said.
Li insisted she isn't benefiting financially and said it's even "bad" for her mental health to go on TV and face scrutiny.
