State GOP leaders are reportedly planning to disband the New York State Young Republicans organization after leaked texts revealed a trove of racist, antisemitic and homophobic comments, including rape fantasies, and suggestions on how to drive their opponents to suicide.

The Young Republican National Federation has an active chapter in each state and is comprised of members ages 18 to 40, The Guardian reports.

“The Young Republicans was already grossly mismanaged, and vile language of the sort made in the group chat has no place in our party or its subsidiary organizations,” said Ed Cox, New York Republican chair, in a statement Friday.

Cox announced a unanimous vote to suspend the chapter, a decision made by the executive board of the New York Republican state committee.

The organization's website says the group is the oldest political organization in the U.S., The Guardian reports.
