Early Friday morning MAGA “influencer” Nick Sortor was released from a Portland jail cell after allegedly getting in a street fight with anti-ICE protesters late Thursday night near an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, reports CNN.

In video posted to X and Bluesky, Sortor can be seen being put in restraints by Portland police officers on bikes as onlookers taunted him with “You dumbs---,” and "What a f------ loser."

According to the CNN report, local police were dispatched to the area over reports of skirmishes and "continued to monitor the situation and responded after seeing additional fights break out. A bureau Rapid Response Team arrested Sortor and the two Oregonians, police said.”

Sortor was later released without bond and after being arrested on suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct.

The CNN report notes, “It was not clear if any of those arrested had attorneys, and no court date was immediately set. Sortor has not responded to CNN’s request for comment. Sortor has not publicly commented on the arrest, but he tweeted earlier this week speculation he might be detained.”

This is not the first time Sortor has been in a confrontation with locals when attempting to get a story.

Showing up in Maui after the devastating fires, he was accused of “using up resources” while the community was reeling and fled while reporting to ‘War Room” host Steve Bannon, “Dude, I’m getting chased is what’s going on. This is what happened, I ended up getting doxxed.”
