"MAGA Life Coach" and failed congressional candidate Brenden Dilley lashed out against the New York Times on Thursday, saying the news outlet is planning to run a "hit piece" on him.
Dilley, who previously offered bizarre speculation about Joe Biden on his YouTube show, said that the Times had contacted numerous people close to him.
"The New York Times has now contacted my ex-wife, a guy I guest hosted a show with 6 years ago and the former editor of my book from back in 2013," he said. "What they're trying to figure out is 'How did Brenden Dilley go from the outhouse to the penthouse in less than five years?'"
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
Dilley then added:
"They're going to be terribly disappointed when they find out that I run a super generic business but am the absolute BEST in all of media at combining comedy, entertainment, politics and legitimate life coaching while cultivating an actual community and p.s. btw... I can outsell anyone, anywhere, anytime and have always been able to since my very first job as a personal trainer."
Dilley went on to deny playing dirty.
"I don't have a bot farm. I don't have guests to make my show interesting. I don't have financial backers. I have a loyal audience, the best sponsors in media and the most talented content team (The Dilley Meme Team) on planet Earth," he said on Thursday. "The New York Times is about to platform one of the most dangerously influential and best kept secrets in America with a hit piece that is going to prove I've never been arrested, I pay my taxes, I have custody of all of my kids, I don't drink or do drugs and the real story is that I came from the gutter and stayed true to my God, my message, my audience, and President Trump."
He finished with, "I didn't change for the world, the world just is finally catching up to me. Eat my shorts, [New York Times].
