Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested that perhaps transgender people and antifa activists had targeted an ICE facility in Dallas after an apparent sniper shot two detainees.

"The other Texas ICE facility that was targeted in July was by a Trans Antifa affiliated lunatic," Greene said in a Wednesday post on X. "Is today's shooter affiliated with Antifa or trans or another psycho that has been brainwashed by Dangerous America Last Open Border Democrat lies and the media's propaganda to hate and want to kill ICE?"

"Antifa is an international terrorists [sic] organization that has declared war on law enforcement," she added. "Antifa and it's [sic] funding network must be dismantled and prosecuted."

The Dallas Police Department was expected to hold a briefing on the shooting later on Wednesday morning.

Although the antifa movement has no formal entity, President Donald Trump has labeled it a "domestic terrorist organization."
