Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) warned on Tuesday that Democrats wanted to put herself and others into "reeducation camps."
Greene made the comments during a podcast with right-wing reporter Jon Solomon.
"The Republican Party needs to recognize who the Democrat [sic] Party is," Greene explained. "We are facing a Democrat [sic] Party that's a communist party. And this is a Democrat [sic] Party that is absolutely destroying our country."
The lawmaker called on her colleagues to "wake up" to the "threat" of the Democratic Party.

"And that's our colleagues across the aisle who absolutely hate us," she opined. "They would put us in jail if they could. They would put us in reeducation camps if they could."
"They would put President Trump in jail for the rest of his life until he's dead and his family, and take away all their assets and anybody that has truly supported them and worked for them," Greene added. "And that's who the Democrat [sic] Party is."
She also said she was "disgusted with Republicans" who refused to see things the way she does.
"I'm purely disgusted with my own conference, and I'm sick and tired of all the talk and no action," she remarked. "I think it's pitiful."
