'War is coming': Marjorie Taylor Greene tests new conspiracy theory about violence

It has been just a few weeks since Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) begged the anti-war group Code Pink for a photo with their activists, but she's now anticipating a war.

"The war in Ukraine must END!" posted Greene the first week of October. "Today, I met brave @codepink activists who protested for peace in Bernie Sanders’ office. He had 11 of them arrested! Peace & free speech shouldn’t be a partisan issue. We don’t agree on most things, but we do agree Congress should STOP fueling the war in Ukraine!"

Today, she had a different message: "War is coming."

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

The ominous comment explained, "Washington wants war with Iran, which will pull in Turkey and Syria, maybe Saudis. Russia will likely sell weapons to Iran and NK too. Maybe nukes as well. What will India do? China? Both might play the long game and they will likely watch everyone blow themselves to pieces and be weakened and then either country can make a play for global dominance when it’s over."

She claimed this is why cable news is running non-stop coverage of the Israel-Hamas war, "to physiologically prepare you to support war, sending our troops, and paying for it all. It’s so you can stomach the flag draped (sic) coffins coming home and donate to all the charities supporting blown apart American soldiers."

Greene continued, saying that it's the idea that “war feeds patriotism and wins elections” and “war is good for the economy tactic.”

She went on to go on the attack against the "neocons power trip" and funding of the "military-industrial complex."

"Get ready," she proclaimed. "War is coming. I’ll fight against it the whole way and inform you all every step of the way. But I’m going to need help."

While Greene is sounding off against the U.S. aiding in the war against Hamas, the conservative editorial side of the Wall Street Journal is blaming Iran for the attack, in a way that at least one reporter said was remarkably similar to the "weapons of mass destruction" claims about Iraq.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the former president, is warning Hamas is coming to the United States and urging Americans to buy AR-15s quickly to defend their families.
