Fresh off of calling Jewish anti-war protesters in Congress an "insurrection," far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) used the term again to describe a pro-Palestinian demonstrator who accosted her at the Cannon House Office Building on Wednesday.
"Watch Tlaib’s aggressive insurrectionist come at me in Cannon today," posted Greene on X. "After Hamas murdered and kidnapped innocent Israelis, this antisemite screams 'Let Gaza live' and claims I have blood on my hands. Now Biden wants to give $100 million to Gaza to fund more Hamas terrorism!"
In the video, the protester can indeed be seen interrupting and chanting at her, although he is never violent or threatening.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
Greene's final line is a reference to President Joe Biden's commitment to give $100 million to humanitarian efforts in Gaza, as Palestinian civilians there — many of whom never even supported Hamas in the first place — are trapped with no power and limited supplies under an Israeli blockade.
Israel has ramped up its military efforts in the region following a heinous terrorist attack by Hamas militants that left hundreds dead and hundreds more abducted as hostages.
Biden has pledged to support Israeli's defense through the crisis.
