Billionaire Mark Cuban believes President Joe Biden owes Donald Trump a big thanks ahead of the 2024 election, and amid multiple state efforts to block the former president from the ballot.
Cuban’s X message went viral Monday with a message focusing on the Colorado and Maine decisions to block the former president based on the insurrection ban under the 14th Amendment.
"I wish Biden would come out and say he wants Trump on the ballot,” Cuban wrote Sunday on X. “Then thanks him for the playbook describing how to never leave office and the appreciation of knowing he can't be charged, no matter what he does.”
Republicans against Trump called the message "brilliant."
"I've been saying this for weeks," added @ThymeZone. "Why are so many people unaware that giving Trump immunity gives it to Biden first?"
Both Colorado and Maine have made moves to bump Trump under the insurrectionist ban and based on the former president’s actions after the 2020 election.
Trump has denied wrongdoing in two criminal court cases filed against him — one in Georgia and another in D.C. federal court — and decried the 14th Amendment bans as undemocratic.
Cuban, meanwhile, took a jab at Trump with the advice he gave to Biden, whom he urged to address his fellow Americans with the following message:
“I'm not ever going to leave the White House and there is nothing you can do to me.”
According to Cuban, that would confirm “exactly why SCOTUS will keep Trump off the ballots and why Trump will never get immunity."
Newsweek, first to report the message, did not receive a response from Cuban to their request for comment.
