MSNBC's Joe Scarborough mocked Republican lawmakers for exposing their latest impeachment gambit as a fraud from the start.
House Republicans have already held one impeachment hearing for Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over border security, but they're also threatening to reject a bipartisan Senate bill on immigration because it might help President Joe Biden.
"Think about this," Scarborough said. "They want to impeach Mayorkas because, they say, there's not order at the border, and then they say, 'We're not going to do anything to fix the border because it may also help Joe Biden politically.' So they're impeaching a guy for chaos at the border. They got the most conservative border security bill ever, according to [Sen.] Lindsey Graham, according to [Sen.] John Thune, according, my God, to [Sen.] James Lankford, one of the most conservative members in all of the Senate, from Oklahoma, running the show. Again, he's been anti-Biden since Day One."

"They say, we're not going to do again, the comrades in the House say, we're not going to do anything to fix the border," Scarborough added. "Talk about hypocrisy. Just lay it out for everybody to see. I hope those impeachment hearings are televised because they're going to be fun as hell to watch."
